Step back in time as you ride the New River Scenic Railway up the valley of the New River. Situated in the middle of thousands of acres of wilderness, the tracks run through some of the most beautiful and remote areas of the Northern Cumberland Plateau.
National Coal Company has generously allowed the use of their tracks for weekend excursions. Ride in the plush luxury of the freshly renovated car or, for the thrill of a lifetime, buy an Engineer Ticket and ride up front with the Engineer.
